“I am more important than William Shakespeare,”
Mansor Puteh is a man who exudes confidence.
“I am more important than William Shakespeare,” he said, over tea in an exclusive interview with Malay Mail this week.
“Shakespeare has never used a Malay name in any of his works. I always use Malay names.”
Right. Well, maybe he means that his work is more relevant to Malays because his characters are mostly Malays.
“And Steven Spielberg, I am better than him, because in all his movies, there was only one film which showed Muslims — Amistad — and they were all naked!”
